If you're asking about the middle school tourney, my recollection is that Londonderry won it, followed by Rundlett, Nashua Elm St. 3rd, and Nashua Catholic 4th. The Tri County Committee did not run separate large and small school divisions.

Thanks Joe. So did they divide the groups as D-I and D-II or not? It also looks like they scored every kid there. Didn't we used to take the top 10 scorers from each school?

They scored to 5th-6th place. Definitely not just top 10. And as you can see, they divided the groups after the fact, only for the scoring, which is what they've always done. Everybody wrestles everybody, and scores on the same slate, but for team scoring, they are divided and then ranked.

If you ask me, there were some oddities in the scoring this year, but Tri County has always seemed like an oddly run and scored tourney to me. Not necessarilly bad, just odd, and unlike other youth tourneys in NH.

If they scored to the 5th and 6th places how big were the brackets? We always tried to keep the scoring on an even platform by limiting the scoring to the top 10 wrestlers for each school using the 14, 10, 7, 4 system. That way, there was not as much of a disadvantage to smaller schools going up against the Rundletts and Timberlanes with 50 kids on the roster and possibly having 3 or 4 kids in one weight bracket.

All true, Bob. And by your questions, you obviously haven't heard about the tourney. It's really too long to go into here.....send me a PM with your # and I'll call when I have a chance a break it down for you.
