These are Preliminary D1 brackets: there may be scratches, but this is where we start.

It's Timberlane not Timberlake... I would think you would be a little understanding when someone loses a match that is important to them. I thought the 103 wrestler did the right thing to cool down. He left the situation instead of doing something stupid. He probably just needed to go and collect himself after a tough loss.

If I was a coach I would have my wrestler write an apology to the organizors. I was embarassed tghats why I left and joined this forum today to say how I feel. This is a blackeye for the great wrestlers of Timberlake.

are you serious? get a life save your donations because if it is anything like your post it is not worth much

maybe you should have stayed longer and witnessed some really bad behavior from some other kids that lost in the semis that were not timberlane wrestlers or are you just down on timberlane. I'm not making excuses for the wrestler that your talking about but what he did is mild in comparison to how other wrestlers acted when they lost a match.

wrestling is an emotional sport of course some people are going to get upset. if they didnt care if they lost they probally would not have gone as far as they did. we are not all like Tom Foote, and can take a loss with a smile and say oh well ill get you next time. i challenge you to find any great wrestler who wouldnt be upset after a big loss? look at all those t-shirts, read the back of them, its 2 men 1 mat it takes guts to wrestler, and it tough to loose.

What that coach did was wrong but he apologized to the team and parents. He was also suspended by the school and couldn't coach at MOCs. Salem has had a really tough year this year. Only one senior in Steve Comtois who's had to lead a team comprised of mostly freshman and sophmores. No 189, 215 or 285 weights and no juniors for next year. A year of frustration built to that incident. I'm not going to defend the coach but he's a young coach in his first year. Hopefully, he learns from this mistake and sets a better example for kids in the future.
It is an emotional sport but wrestlers and coaches still need to act like sportsman.
