NHIAA Division I bracketts??

Maple Grove, Can you share an example of a normal NHIAA Division I tournament bracket with the rest of us? With the tournament looming, it would be nice to see how this pieces together.

Both the NH D1 and D2 State Championship brackets are normal 16-man double-elimination brackets. The seeding will be done based on last year's (or prior year's) results in division championships (top 6 for D1 & top 4 for D2), MOCs (top 6), and New Englands (top 6), plus the current season results.

After the Top 6 from D1 and Top 4 from D2 are determined on the weekend of 2/20/10, then those 10 wrestlers in each weight class go into the Meet of Champions (MOC) bracket based on the pre-seeded format, which can be found in another thread in this forum.

Then Top 3 from MOCs go to New Englands on 3/5-3/6/10.

How does it work that you have a wrestler listed at one weight but they have changed weights since early season?

Each coach will name a D1 lineup for his team, based on what weight his wrestlers have qualified for during the season. Then the seeding committee will look at how the wrestlers in each weight class stack up against each other for seeding purposes.

and how is it weighted? straight win/loss record overall? win/loss in the weight you are competing at? and how are losses to kids out of your weight bracket weighted (ie - stud kid wrestles up and beats you, but stud kid wont be wrestling in your weight at states)? lots of questions, i know...any help would be appreciated....
